| RSS is a new method for publishing content that is catching on quickly in the online world. RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, allows readers to subscribe to a specific stream of information - called an RSS feed - that could contain news releases, updates, special interest articles, etc. from a specific publisher. RSS posts are published as the information becomes available, and are formatted either as a short summary with a link to the full article or sent as the full article in its entirety. They can include standard html formatting or plain text. RSS content is published to and then read from an RSS reader.
